Nothing makes you want an outdoor dinner party with friends like a gorgeous summer night. When the temperatures start rising, we can’t wait to fire up the grill and serve some delicious food to our dearest ones. For summertime, a laidback feel is a must, but backyard dining doesn’t have to lack style. Mixing colors and patterns with elegant dinnerware casts a sophisticated vibe to your outdoor soiree.
We pulled together competing patterns and textures while staying within the same color palette. For our tablescape, we were inspired by summer sunsets full of warm colors: oranges, browns, reds, and pinks. A colorful Kantha Stitch Picnic Blanket provides a soft table covering to build your tablescape upon. We added handpicked flowers from the garden and candles for ambiance, choosing various sizes of vases and candlesticks to add dimension.
Inspired by the well-traveled trend this summer for our stylish outdoor gathering, we mixed internationally-inspired items with neutral dinnerware and classic vintage china for sophistication. Rich layers of textures and colors create a collected look for the table. Our Wood Grain Dinnerware paired with vintage china and the Casablanca Collection salad plate and tidbit dishes allow for a casual comfort with a little spark.
