Baked brie is one of our favorite cold weather appetizers here at Relish. Sweet, salty, and satisfying for vegetarians and carnivores alike, baked brie always makes an appearance at our holiday gatherings. Few recipes deliver such a spectacular result with this little effort, so get your ovens ready.
Since honey is the main ingredient, we recommend using the highest quality honey you can find. Our liquid gold Vermont Farmed Honey works perfectly as the sticky, sweet base for this topping. We also used pecans for a tasty crunch and tangy dried cranberries to add a pop of festive color. Serve it with a variety of crackers, baguettes, and pear slices for guests to slather this delicious warm snack onto. Our baked brie is sure to be the star of your holiday table!
16 oz Round wheel of Brie
1/3 cup honey
2 tbs light brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped dried apples
Place cheese in brie baker* and preheat oven to 350. Combine pecans, cranberries, apples, and brown sugar. Spread mixture over top of Brie and drizzle with honey. Bake, uncovered for 15-20 minutes until cheese is soft and topping is melted. Serve immediately.
