Our favorite weddings are those that represent the personality of the couple with distinctive and memorable details. Emerson and Jessica’s big day in Washington, DC perfectly represented their fun loving, free-spirited personalities with whimsical details. Pops of pink dotted the affair, along with touches of tulle and bold black geometric patterns. The colorful venue walls and intricate architecture of the historic Tabard Inn added classic flair to this modern event.
The bride wore a birdcage veil and a pink petticoat to complement her tea length gown. A bouquet of cheerful pink and white gerbera daisies wrapped in polka dot ribbon finished her bridal ensemble.
Tall elegant vases held long stemmed daises surrounded by tea lights and smaller vessels. The bright green stems played off of the kelly green walls, pulling together the crisp white table settings.
Jessica couldn’t resist stealing a taste of the delicious geometric cake. Pearl details wrapped each layer and echoed the bride’s accessories. Following the reception, guests were invited to fill up their own box of treats from a custom candy bar.
