Eerie Halloween

Eerie Halloween

If you’re trying to figure out a color scheme for your Halloween party, make it easy on yourself. Going traditional orange and black is always a great idea, sticking with the season’s traditional pumpkins and eerie ghouls and monsters of the dark.  If you want to take it up a notch, get fired up by our Eerie Halloween palette, inspired by our Halloween cocktail, the Vampire’s Kiss.  Adding some yellows and gold electrifies the evening, a touch of blood red adds to the spooky vibe—and all pair well with your jack-o-latern orange and black.  We hope you enjoy your celebrations.  Happy Halloween!

Fall Harvest

kuler-fall-harvest

We were excited about getting cozy for autumn a bit early this year, but now that our calendars tell us it’s officially fall, we couldn’t be happier. One trip to the farmer’s market or down a windy road through the woods, and it’s easy to be reminded of our favorite thing about the autumn season: color! Bright, vivid colors in every hue, everywhere you look. Fall harvest is always bursting with flavorful food in reds, yellows, oranges, greens, and purples—and our gardens and trees are following suit. The season of plenty is perfect leading into the end of the year’s entertaining season, and we are certainly eager to indulge in color and flavor for our holiday plans.

Trend: Dip Dye

We like to get creative with colors in summer to stay carefree, whimsical, and stylish.  It’s no surprise that this year we’re loving the dip dye trend, which has a hint of carefree bohemian, but is still elegant and sophisticated.  Rather than stripping or removing color in a tie-dye process, the dip dye process instead adds color to fabric and the result is stunning.  Who doesn’t need to add a little color to their summer style?
